Just to keep things sweet

Photo day is upon us! We’ve planned it all, you’ve got those kid-bribing snacks (smart move), and we make some photo magic. Trust me to capture your family in your element—no need to stress if the littles aren’t all smiles, we’ll get THAT photo at some point. All you have to do is just be with them and you’ll create some lovely memories too. I’ll make sure you walk away feeling sky-high with photos you can’t wait to show off.

Once we confirm the main deets, I’ll send an invoice and contract. Sign, pay the retainer, and then we’ll really dig into the planning! We’ll nail down the where, when, and how, and you’ll have me there for guidance and support. Need outfit inspo? I’ve got a styling guide for that. Want location ideas? I’ve got plenty up my sleeve. I’ll also share prep tips so you feel confident and set for your session.

Just to keep you excited, I’ll send you a sneak peek of a few images within a week of your session! Depending on my schedule and the time of year, full galleries are typically delivered within 3-4 weeks.

No, and I will tell you why. A photographer’s work is not just about the photo snapped, it’s about the editing style, the crop and composition, even just the photo chosen in a succession of similar ones, these choices are all representative of the photographer and their art. I personally tell a story with my albums and I am particular with what images I include so you can not only have the best quality of images, but the best photos to tell your story as it is.

They can come to help wrangle the kiddos or to cheer you on, but if you are wanting photos including them, then the session will actually be an extended family session. Since there are more folks involved and more photos that will be edited and included, they have a bit of a higher cost. Please inquire further and I’ll give you more info 🙂.

Yes! After the 25% of total retainer payment is made to solidify your spot in my calendar, just let me know the dates and portions you’d like your payments split up in and voila! I’ll take care of the rest.

I do not offer mini sessions regularly, as I feel like I do my best work when both I and you and your family are able to have the time to unwind, and let the session unravel without rush or force. However, it’s important to me to give the opportunity to new and past clients to either test out a session with me, and offer an option that may be more affordable to some. Trust me, I get it when things have to be on a tighter budget! I hold mini session days once or twice during the year. One near the holidays (depending on interest) and one during summer.
